    Gas Hot Water installation

    McNulty Gasfix offers homes and commercial premises options for both the installation of gas instantaneous and gas storage. 

    Gas instantaneous refers to the continuous flow of hot water, ensuring you have heated hot water whenever you need it. It is water that is heated on demand. It’s a great solution when you have multiple people in your household using hot water typically at the same time.

    Gas storage refers to a hot water system that heats via a gas burner under the storage tank. Gas storage works best when you are seeking an economical solution both for the install and longer term energy consumption. It also has the added benefit of not needing an electrical connection.

    McNulty Gasfix is a preferred supplier for Rinnai (instantaneous) and Rheem (storage). Both these brands are market leaders and carry a 10-year warranty for peace of mind.

    McNulty Gasfix is fully licensed and accredited, alongside being fully insured. We hold a Gas licence (L30390), QBCC licence (no 15114482), and are proud members of the Master Plumbers Association of Queensland (membership no 1763958). Owner-operator Dave McNulty also holds the prestigious City and Guilds of London qualification as a Gas Service Engineer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do you supply and install Gas Hot Water units?
    Yes, we supply and install Rinnai, Rheem, Dux, Everhot and Bosch units. Instantaneous and Storage.
    Can you repair a leaking fitting line?
    Yes, we can repair Galvanised steel, Copper and Pex fitting lines
    Can you come out today?
    In most cases we can come out same day to diagnose the fault and if a new Hot Water system is required we will have it onsite within 24hrs Monday to Friday. On weekends and holidays we can often provide a temporary electric unit until a replacement is sourced.

    Do I need to get my gas supplier back out once a leak is repaired?
    No. Once a leak has been repaired and we have tested the installation we are authorised to reconnect your gas and issue a compliance certificate.
    Do you repair stoves, hot plates and ovens?
    Yes, we have over 30 years experience repairing cooking appliances and can source spare parts quickly and cheaply.
